| Angelina Jolie Lobbies for Role in “Fifty Shades of Grey” Movie |
Emma Watson has flat out denied dish linking her to the role of virgin-turned-vamp Anastasia Steele in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey.
And that news will come as music to the ears of Tomb Raider thirtysomething Angelina Jolie.
Word is the future Mrs. Brad Pitt has been lobbying for a role in the proposed film ever since being introduced to the EL James bestseller on the set of Maleficent. The fictional story tells the tale of a young college student slowly consumed by the charms of BDSM-lovin’ billionaire Christian Grey.
One snoop tells the Daily Mirror:
“Angelina kept hearing about the book while she was in the UK. All the girls on set were talking about it and how it’s being made into a film. Angelina went out and bought herself a copy, thinking she’d love a part in the hot topic on everyone’s lips at the moment. She knows the film is bound to be a huge hit.”
