Three of our graduates, Eloise Anson, Michael Byrne and Stephen Byrne, worked in the Prosthetics Team for the latest Tim Burton film, "Dark Shadows". The film features an all-star cast including: Johnny Depp, Michelle Pfeiffer, Helena Bonham Carter and Eva Green. Johnny Depp plays an imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins, who is set free and returns to his dysfunctional family who are in need of his protection.
Eloise Anson is also working on the new film, "Under the Skin", based on the award-winning novel by Michael Faber. The film features Scarlett Johansson who plays an alien in human form who undertakes a dark journey through Scotland.
Nikki Wright (August 2011 course) has recently been appointed as a make-up artist at the London School of Modelling. She is looking forward to working on the next series of "Models, Misfits and Mayhem".
Marvie Ann Beck is taking part in the "International Make-Up Artist Trade Show" in Hollywood, where she'll be working with 7 times Oscar Award Winner, Rick Baker. Marvie Beck is now official Make-up and Hair Trainer to Femina Miss India Winners – 2012. She's training India's official entry to Miss World – Vanya Mishra, Miss Earth – Prachi Mishra and Miss International – Rochelle Maria Rao.
Olivia Burton, who did the January 2012 course, has recently gained work experience on "Wicked".
Three Delamar Graduates, Charmaine Fuller, Kirsty McQueen and Lizzie Keogh, have been working in the Make-Up department of the new film "Maleficent". The film retells Walt Disney's 1959 film "Sleeping Beauty" through the eyes of the evil Fairy Godmother Maleficent. "Maleficent" is not due for release until 2014 and will star Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning and Imelda Staunton.
Sally Alcott is working in the prosthetics department on the new 'Mad Max' film, starring Charlize Theron, who has shaved her hair for the role. The film is currently shooting in Africa.
Marese Langan (2012 winner of Make-up and Hair Film BAFTA for 'The Iron Lady') recently completed the film 'Mister Pip' as Make-up Designer and personal make-up artist to Hugh Laurie.
Hayley Barr is designing 'True Crime', a new police drama for ITV.
Steve and Mike Byrne are working in the Prosthetics Department on the Science Fiction film 'Last Days of Mars', as well as making stunt masks for 'New Cuban Fury', a salsa-dancing comedy starring Nick Frost.
Jennifer Leighton has a year's contract working on 'Emmerdale', in Leeds.
Nicola Mussett, who did the January 2012 course, did work experience at the West End theatre production of 'Mamma Mia', and is now a paid trainee on 'We Will Rock You'.
Katy Cherry is part of the make-up team for the 2012 Olympics opening ceremony.
Doone Forsyth is the main team trainee on 'Downton Abbey' Series 3, shooting at Ealing Studios and on location at Highclere House.
Victoria Stride and Katy Gill ( both August 2011 16 week course) are currently working at Cirque de Soir
